Social Media & Content Strategy development for the footwear label Schutz USA, planning the one-year content calendar, optimizing social advertising campaigns, and strengthening relationships with digital influencers.  After two months, I increased their revenue coming from social media by 89%, ideated the new and ongoing brand ambassador program, and introduced the brand’s hashtag #InMySchutz.

Challenges & Goals

The well-known Brazilian footwear Schutz established in the US since 2015 was looking to increase its brand awareness across North America in social media while keeping its DNA. They also wanted to create more buzz to bring traffic to its stores in New York and Los Angeles.

Solutions & Results

  • Developed a new Content and Social Media Strategy, bringing relevant cultural insights and trends while reviving the brand’s DNA
  • Developed a social media content production plan for the coming season, defining the type and amount of images/videos, and mapping out the future photoshoots according to the merchandising calendar
  • Worked with the marketing team to develop creative briefs for campaigns and social media stories, and supported the team with content creations in a daily basis
  • Optimized Facebook and Instagram advertising campaign, and created a comprehensive content strategy focusing on the main social networks (Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook). As a result, Schutz increased its revenue coming from social media by 89%
  • Introduced new tools & technologies to measure KPIs
  • Ideated the new ambassador program (currently running), and worked with the team to select influencers across the U.S.
  • Connected offline in-store activations with online/social media efforts, while collaborating in the production of the NYC Madison Avenue store re-opening
  • Introduced new tactics to engage with the brand’s social community, giving daily support and training the team to continue the work
